Will’s talent with steel and brass components is on par with his woodworking skill. This is my second order from Honey Brook Tools and the third order is already made. A bevel gauge is a pretty simple and utilitarian tool (he says without ever having made one!), but Will has turned it into a beautiful work of art. The new knob works well and is a huge step up from an off-the-shelf thumb screw. To top it off, it's always a pleasure to work with Will -- it's not just a transaction, it's a very personalized experience. I received a set of bevel gauges from my wife as a birthday present. To say the tools are beautiful is to sell them short. The fit of the wood and brass is flawless to the touch. The wood is finished to a beautiful sheen that still allows the user to feel the wood under hand, not a glossy plastic feel.
