Honey Brook Winding Sticks--Special Edition--16" Winding Sticks in Tiger Maple with Yarran Sighting Inlays

When dimensioning stock for a project, winding sticks are an important tool to remove any twist from your wood.  The Honey Brook Winding Sticks are beautifully handmade for this purpose. This special edition set is 24" in length, making them perfect for wider boards and panels.

This set of Honey Brook Winding Sticks are made to the following specifications.

1. This pair of winding sticks is made from premium quartersawn and highly figured tiger maple.
2. These winding sticks are 16" long, 5/8" wide at the base tapering to 5/16" at the top and are 2" tall.
3. The highly figured tiger maple is beautifully complemented by Yarran sighting inlays.  Yarran is a beautiful exotic wood in the acacia family and native to eastern Australia. The deep dark red hue and black streaks within the yarran provides a beautiful visual contrast to the bright white tiger maple.
4. As with my other tools, the Honey Brook Winding Sticks receive hand-mixed shellac followed by Alfie Shine hard wax.
